Where to Eat?

My inlaws just mentioned Latino’s Restaurante today and they really enjoy the food. You can get a discount (affiliate link) from Groupon for them here. They are in Deerfield Beach, so they are convenient after the festival.

Visiting Florida

While the renaissance doesn’t usually bring to mind the renaissance, the state features the oldest city in the United States (at least by European-centric measures) that was founded during the renaissance. St. Augustine, Florida was founded by 1565. From Deerfield Beach where the Florida Renaissance Festival is located to St. Augustine is a 4 hour drive. In St. Augustine you can visit a renaissance era fortress without even leaving the US mainland. Time for a road trip!
